Privacy policy
Introduction
This policy describes how ZipZap ("we", "us") handles personal information you provide when you submit an enquiry on this site or related subdomains.
Information we collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:
- Contact details (name, email, business website)
- Business information (company, role, goals, budget)
- Marketing attribution data (which channel referred you, when you first visited)
- Standard technical information (IP address, device, browser) collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure for security and reliability
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss possible engagements
- To assess fit and qualify the enquiry
- To measure which marketing channels drive qualified enquiries
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam, or abuse
- To comply with our legal obligations
Legal basis (EU/EEA + UK)
We process your personal information on the basis of legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — handling commercial enquiries you initiate and operating first-party analytics. Submitting a qualifying form for a sales call is itself the consent signal for us to follow up about your enquiry (Recital 32). You can object at any time using the contact details below.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertising networks. We do use a small number of third-party service providers to host our infrastructure, manage scheduling, and send transactional email. Each provider acts as a data processor under contractual agreements that meet GDPR requirements, and processes data only on our instructions.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ZipZap, our clients, or others.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of first-party cookies and local storage entries strictly necessary for the site to function — including preserving partially-filled forms across an accidental refresh and attributing your enquiry to the original referring channel.
We do not set third-party advertising cookies. We do not use cross-site trackers. Because all of these are necessary for the service you requested, we do not display a cookie banner.
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described above:
- Active enquiries and engagements: up to 24 months
- Closed or declined enquiries: up to 12 months
After these periods, information is deleted on a rolling basis. We delete sooner on request (see Your rights below).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request erasure of your information
- Object to or restrict our processing of your information
- Receive your information in a portable, machine-readable form
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We respond within 30 days.
International data transfers
Some of our service providers may be located outside the European Economic Area or United Kingdom. Where this is the case, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) under applicable data-protection law.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for business enquiries from adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably possible.
